The new Black Brook Bridge is a 60.5 m single span structure supporting two lanes of vehicular traffic and a single concrete sidewalk. Located along the Cabot Trail in the Cape Breton Highlands National Park, the bridge spans over Black Brook. HEC provided the preliminary and detailed bridge design and resident engineer services during construction.
