Harbourside Engineering, along with the City of Guelph, and Beton Construction, were awarded a 2025 Project of the Year Award for their work on the Boathouse Retaining Wall in Guelph, Ontario by the OPWA. The Award Luncheon happened on May 13th, 2026.
Our engineering teams came out to show their footwork in two running events, back-to-back, over two weekends. One was set in Halifax, and the other in Charlottetown. Workers have reached another construction milestone on the Ontario Line project with the completion of the main arch for the Lower Don Bridge, a structure that will eventually carry subway trains over the Don River and Don Valley Parkway in Toronto’s east end. Sections of the DVP and Gardiner were closed from Friday, Jan. 30, at 11 p.m. to Monday, Feb. 2, at 5 a.m. to accommodate critical construction work for the new Lower Don Bridge that will carry Ontario Line trains across the Don River and adjacent highway lanes.
