Harbourside Engineering Group is growing! Harbourside recently launched Harbourside Project Management (HPM) to complement the services of its other three companies, Harbourside Engineering Consultants (HEC), Harbourside Transportation Consultants (HTC), and Harbourside Geotechnical Consultants (HGC).

Harbourside Project Management (HPM) builds on HEC’s proven track record of delivering project management and construction support services. The team, as experienced project management professionals, have more than 40 years of industry experience serving clients across a variety of sectors in many different roles. HPM specializes in heavy civil, commercial, institutional, industrial, mixed-use, and residential projects.

MEET THE TEAM:

Mike Gallagher, C.Tech – Mike brings nearly 30 years of industry experience to his new role as Senior Project Manager. He is a Certified Engineering Technician with TechNova and has a Diploma in Building Technology. Having worked in a variety of roles during his career, delivering construction projects across multiple sectors like healthcare, municipal, residential construction, and institutional, Mike has a solid understanding of the construction industry. His specialties include detailed design review and coordination, schedule and budget preparation, tender development, and project cost control.

Angelo Di Quinzio, P.Eng. – Angelo is a Structural Engineer with 14 years of extensive Project Management experience in government programs, focusing on heavy civil and marine infrastructure projects from initiation to completion. In his role as Senior Project Manager with HPM, Angelo will assist clients with cradle-to-grave project management, community and stakeholder engagement, and program planning.

HPM is already up and running on several exciting client projects including serving as Project Manager for the construction of the Simmons Sports Complex in Charlottetown, PE. Angelo and Mike, along with HEC team members are delivering construction management services to Halifax Harbour Bridge’s Engineering Department to support project work identified in HHB’s five-year Strategic Plan.
