We have another interview with one of our co-op students. This time, from the geotechnical division! Brady Chipman recounts his time at Harbourside, and how he was able to apply his skills and learn from the team!
Nishtha is a 4th year engineering student with us here at Harbourside. Her co-op is an 8th month term, and she’s already hoping for an extension!
Sherelle Higgs recently completed her co-op at Harbourside after a 4-month term with our transportation division. Despite the short time frame, Sherelle has continually impressed us with her excellent work-ethic, and enthusiasm (as you will see in the video). She returns to her studies at Dalhousie University this fall.
Scott Long has been with Harbourside as one of our co-op students for a 16 month term. If you watched our previous video featuring Bryan Rusagara, you may like to know that the two worked closely together for that time.
As the next semester approaches, we prepare to say goodbye to another crop of amazing co-op students. Bryan Rusagara has been working as a co-op student with Harbourside for 16 months. In that time, we have seen Bryan tackle incredible projects, growing by leaps and bounds.
Scott Long is a co-op student set to graduate in 2026. He’s been an active part of the Dartmouth project, both in terms of projects, and socially!
For today’s staff spotlight, we’d like to highlight Kate Cunningham. Kate has been with Harbourside since June 2024, which means it’s her 1-year work anniversary.
We would like to highlight one of our junior engineers for today’s staff spotlight. Claire Spearns has been with HEC since 2023, when she began her co-op.
Bryan Rusagara began is co-op term with Harbourside in 2024. He liked it so much that he came back for a second go!
Today’s staff spotlight highlights one of our junior engineers: Carson Mackay. Carson got his start at Harbourside during his co-op term in 2022, and joined the team full time in 2023.
It's officially co-op season!
Or at least it's hiring season for the May 2026 term co-op for engineering students!
Amongst our many divisions and offices, we have limited openings to provide co-op students with the most comprehensive, hands-on experience possible. We keep the roster small, so that we can deliver the best mentorship experience to each student who comes aboard.
